Add a Home Screen widget

1. Create a design in the Widgets tab.
2. Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, then tap Edit → Add Widget.
3. Search for Duo Themes, choose a size and tap Add Widget.
4. Touch and hold the widget, choose Edit Widget and pick your design.

Add a Lock Screen widget

1. Touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize → Lock Screen.
2. Tap the widget area below (or above) the clock and choose Duo Themes.
3. Tap the added widget to pick one of your designs.

Set a wallpaper

Save it from the Wallpapers tab, then open Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos and pick it. On iPhone Duo, save while the app is open on the screen you want to decorate.

Use a custom icon

Save the icon from the Icons tab, then follow the four-step Shortcuts guide in the app. iOS doesn't let any app change icons directly, so Shortcuts is the supported route.

Common issues

My widget didn't update. iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule. Open the app once, or remove and re-add the widget.

The photo in my widget looks blurry. Pick a photo at least 1200px on its long edge. Photos are scaled down to stay inside the iOS widget memory budget.

Saving to Photos fails. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Duo Themes and allow adding photos.
